Wine Tasting 101

After being invited to attend the Women & Wine networking event, I went to the website of the Cleveland Wine School so I could learn more of what was being offered since I hadn't known of the school previously. The idea of learning more about wine definitely intrigued me such that I pondered signing up for a four course series.

My goals of taking the course included the following:
- to gain a better understanding of wine and how it is made.
- to become more skilled at pairing wine with various foods.
- to find out what my favorite wine tastes are.

Today was the first day of class and I am so happy I signed up. Marianne Frantz is a wonderful instructor. After the class was over, I felt so invigorated already with the new knowledege I had just learned. Unlike the networking event, pitch buckets were provided in the class. The drive home was a lot more sober this time around.
